Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients for 8 servings
Ingredients
  • MEVALIA LP Bread Mix 325 g
  • baking powder 2 tsp
  • bicarbonate of soda 1 tsp
  • soft dark brown sugar 100 g
  • Golden Syrup 50 g
  • soft butter 100 g
  • MEVALIA Chocotino/ Vitabite 120 g
  • MEVALIA Lattis/ ProZero 340 ml
  • gravy browning 1 tsp
  • MEVALIA Chocotino/ Vitabite 40 g
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6.
  2. Place the MEVALIA Bread Mix, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda into a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the sugar, Golden Syrup and butter.
  4. In a medium bowl melt 120g of the MEVALIA Chocotino/ Vitabite in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the melted chocolate, MEVALIA Lattis/ ProZero and gravy browning, mixing until smooth.
  6. Divide the mixture between 10 muffin paper cases set inside a muffin tin.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate pieces on top of each muffin.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Place on a wire rack to cool.
